Some observers were surprised to see this swimmer reach the finish, then to crawl up the ramp at the Vaucluse Yacht Club. Tired? Maybb, but James Pittar also is blind. He is a regular to South Head, altering direction right or left according to the whistles he hears from his escort paddler. 3 means "SHARK!", but James once told us he'd never heard that one.

Tori's team.

Happy mob.

Lochie Hinds, 14, has been a regular on the ocean swimming circuit for as long as we can remember. Must drive his mum and dad up the wall. At South Head, Lochie won the Organisers Trophy. He came in in 3:40, only 23 minutes behind the winner.

Winners are grinners... Ryan Huckle and crew.
